Ok, I just wanted to post to give you some QUICKIES about the Vancouver games. Just facts.

1. Vancouver is the most populated city ever to host the Winter Olympic Games
2. It’s the first time EVER (and this goes for the Summer Olympics) when the opening ceremony will be held INDOORS. It’s going to be held at the BC Place Stadium, with a capacity of almost 60 000 places.
3. 86 different sports will be played in total, including the classics (alpine skiing, snowboarding, skating, bob sledge, ice hockey, figure skating, curling, ski jumping etc.)
4. 399 paralympic medals and 615 Olympic medals will be awarded. Each and every one of them has a unique design.
